All prices include: RT airfare from Salt Lake City, hotels, 

bus transportation, breakfast each day, bus driver tips,entrances to ruins and other included attractions. All taxes included.

Tentative 2020 Itinerary:

Day 1--We arrive in Cancun this afternoon where we will be met by our air conditioned charter bus which will transport us to the  seaside resort town of Playa del Carmen.  

Day 2--Today we board our bus and head South toward Chetumal.  We will stop for lunch at beautiful Lake Bacalar where we will have a chance to have lunch on the shores and have a chance to take a dip in this fresh clear water lagoon. After checking into our hotel in Chetumal, we will visit the Museum of Maya Culture.  Overnight in Chetumal.

Day 3-This morning we will head West and visit the ancient cities of Dzibanche and Kohunlich.  Wander atop these fabulous temples, deep in the jungles and imagine their grandeur in the height of their glory.  Overnight in Chetumal.

Day 4--Check out of our hotel and drive once more toward the West to the ruins of Becan where you will see the ancient moat that surrounded this city.  Overnight in Xpuhil.

Day 5--Check out and to head to the ruins of Balamku and Chicanna.  These ruins are hidden in the jungle and have some very interesting well preserved carvings.  Next, we will go to the seaside town of Campeche.  This will be a long day but worth it!  Overnight in Campeche.

Day 6--Today will be a relaxing day to explore this beautiful town, set on the gulf of Mexico.  We will visit the old fort where you will find museums and walk atop the balustrades of this old Spanish fortress.  We will also take a trolley tour of the city.  Overnight in Campeche

 Day 7-  This morning we visit Edzna Ruins, a short drive from Campeche.  We will stop along the way to enjoy the delicious fresh fruit grown in the area. Enjoy the beautiful countryside on our drive through this area.  Overnight in Campeche.

Day 8--Check out of our hotel and drive North toward the Spanish Colonial city of  Merida.  On the way, we will stop at Uxmal, one of the most ornately carved cities in the Yucatan, along the Puuc Route.  Settle into our hotel.  Overnight in Merida.

Day 9-- This morning we will venture toward the coast with a stop at the site of  Dzibilchaltun where you can enjoy a dip in the fresh waters of the cenote within the ruins.  On to Progreso for lunch and and afternoon to spend at the beach.  Tonight you may want to venture to the main square of this beautiful city where you can see one of the oldest cathedrals in the Americas.  Overnight in Merida. 

Day 10-- Check out of our hotel and head to the airport for our flight home
